“It took them about 45 from the time I arrived to get me checked in to get it done due to the staff being unable to find my booking. Even after that the room wasn't ready and I was told to find something else to do for another half hour. “We initially booked a Deluxe Triple Room, Sea View. Too expensive for the facilities provided by the hotel. Bathrooms are very dirty and not maintained properly. No Internet/WIFI in the room and it's available only at the lobby(the most inconvenient thing). Hotels.com website shows that the room has WIFI and aircon. “The check-in and check-out process went quite smoothly. There was a different hot breakfast each day. Tours can be arranged through a staff member with very good English. The WiFi is decent but the walls are very thin and there is no hot water for the shower. Mosquito nets help keep them away while sleeping. There is no private parking though. We had to park our car in front of the guesthouse overnight.”

“Guests must read the lengthy list of things the hotel does not/will not provide. Simple things like towels, room cleaning, these are all considered extras. No window screens so windows cannot be let open for breeze. Poor lighting on badly kept pathways. Parking impossible without 4WD. Not a good place for working travelers. Price is actually all anyplace in Ngwesaung is worth. They also need to insure they do not have a bedbug problem. Perfect for unwashed backpacker hippies on a budget.”
