I will not be referring anyone to the courtyard in Mazatlan nor I would stay there ever. I was treated very poorly since the minute I arrived. First they wanted to charge me again after I had already paid at Expedia. Then I asked if I could get a higher floor since it was to noisy they said that there were no rooms with a king in any floor above the 4th floor that I would have to pay additional to stay in a two queen bed. Then my sister comes to visit me they immediately tell me that she can’t go anywhere in the hotel except to the lobby, I tried to explain that she will not stay she lives there and is just visiting me. Then my husband and I decide to use the pool and went in with a backpack and another person comes and tells us that we can’t bring any food to the pool, we had our personal items only. It really was very embarrassing and very ludicrous. I could not believe how we were treated the employees are in need of training in customer service they are very rude and condescending it was awful. If it wasn’t that I had already paid I would have not stayed there. I felt disrespected and embarrassed.
I hope this will give you an idea that something is happening here Marriott I am also a member of the Bonvoy. No amount of confort, decor, or prestige is enough to ignore your poor service when it comes to customer service.
