The hotel was located close to the top of the Spanish Steps, which was a great base for seeing the sites of Rome. Also very close to a Metro (subway) stop. We were in the heart of the shopping district and near many good restaurants. With so much going on around this location the hotel was actually on a less traveled street and was extremely quiet. And the staff were top notch, offering helpful tips on transportation issues and restaurants, and serving delicious breakfast every morning. They really care about their hotel and the customers.

We had a great visit at a lovely little hotel. If you want a hotel near the Spanish steps, this one is great. It is what one would call a boutique hotel. There were several family restaurants with great pasta within walking distance...talk to front desk. They offer a limited menu breakfast. Hotel was clean but it is an older hotel so no ac in sumner.

This was Unique because they decorated with Art Deco touches including “Erte’ Initials” on each Room Door, like the “G” for Gail on my room. Every room had a different Initial. Loved this. . . . and it was originally a Nun’s Covent, now with beautiful quaint renovated rooms. Staff was Always extremely helpful and the location is 1/2 block from the top of the Spanish Steps! Would definitely go back there!

The hotel was perfect for our stay in Rome. Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and the metro station. Good choice of places to eat within easy walking distance too. Possibly the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! Comfortable spacious room and large ensuite. Helpful staff.

Staff were extremely helpful with dining suggestions, how to use the Metro subway and stay safe, tour suggestions and hailing a taxi for us. The only issue was that the beds were a bit too firm. But if you like a firm bed that would be no problem for you. We never asked if there was any alternative. But again, I can’t say enough about the staff!

All staff were helpful except on checkout day the concierge declined to help us find transportation to the train station. Told us to walk 50 minutes with our luggage. Metro was on strike. Finally got an Uber. Rest of our stay was fantastic. Rooms and breakfast were great.

We LOVED this hotel! It was perfectly located at the top of the Spanish Steps so convenient to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. We had a balcony to the back that was quiet and peaceful though we were in the middle of the Roman chaos. It had a wonderful bed. We rested so well. We highly recommend thus place.
