"Great location, close to the central square. The hotel is basic but that is reflected in the price. The rooms are entirely adequate, clean and warm. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a decent continental offering. You check in via a machine at the front door at which point you pay and receive a code to access the hotel and your room; we therefore had no cause to deal with any hotel staff - no issue with any of that, the system worked well. Very nice.
"It's just a motel room really. Comfortable bed, pillow a little firm for me. Free air-conditioning and WiFi. Very clean and the lady on reception is lovely. There is some traffic noise but not too bad. It's situated on a industrial estate about 5km from Carcassonne. I walked it and the French don't seem to believe in pavements, don't do as I did and take the longer scenic route back because you'll have to walk in the road. I'd definitely stay here again."
