It is an older facility but well located close to the Metro City Mall and a short walk to the light rail into the city. A short walk takes you down into deer lake park - nice for evening walks

We were going to be arriving after 12 am, so we called to let them know. They stayed 20 minutes late so we could check in and then even walked us to our rooms and offered to carry our luggage. The room was what you expect from a Best Western, but the staff made up for any shortcomings.

The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and offers a decent continental breakfast. The rooms are average but also clean and functional. The mattresses could use an upgrade, and I wish the windows in the rooms could open to allow for fresh air. A great feature in room is the Nespresso coffee machine, it would be nice to see them offer creamers though, instead of powdered coffee mate. I don't know if it was specific to my room but it was really disappointing that I could hear the person in the room next to me talking on their phone (including hearing the person on the other end) and I could hear them watching TV etc. That was really lame. The entrance was a bit difficult to locate as bushes are covering the signage from the roadway. All around I would stay here again, it could just use a few upgrades for the price you pay.
