Convenient in Denver

Overall, a decent hotel stay. Very close to the airport and several main highways/interstates. Hotel staff was friendly, with exception of a woman in the gift shop who really should not have a job with her attitude! While we were tempted to order room service out of convenience, there are a number of places to eat which are very close by so we decided not to waste our money. Maid service was excellent and the room was clean, although our view of the neighborhood behind us was a little off-putting despite the beautiful mountains in the background. Depending on price, I would consider staying there again. I believe this was listed as a three star hotel and it probably was a number of years ago but it is a little dated in regards to room decor and size (i.e. bathroom). With the easy access to highways we made day trips to Colorado Springs, Boulder and Fort Collins without having to sit in any traffic.

Great Spur of the Moment Find!

From greeting the check out the service was very friendly and informative. (And the warm cookie was delicious!) Its only about 25 min from the airport and 15 minutes from down town denver which was great. The rooms were very clean with plenty of towels and very comfy beds! I didnt get to use the pool or hot tub but they looked very nice. Guest services was also extrememly helpful in finding restraunts and giving us maps. The only thing that I would have loved was free breakfast, which they do not provide. Other than that is was a fantastic stay!

I visited both the Denver Art Museum and went to an Avalanch game, both of which are great for couples and families. The Art Museum is very child friendly with activities on every floor! We parked downtown and walked to both.

Wonderful. Denver is awesome.

Stay Indoors

If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and relaxing stay, this hotel is the place for you. However, if you’re looking to go out and about on the town, I would not recommend the surrounding neighborhood. There is a newly built shopping area a couple of miles up the road at the old Stapleton area, upscale shops, a movie theater, restaurants and of course The Outdoor Pro-Bass shop is a must. Very cool, don’t miss it.

Doubletree Hotel Denver is a 10 star hotel

I don’t normally respond to these, but this Doubletree hotel was outstanding. Large room, spacious bathroom, free wifi, great guest service, great amenities, free airport shuttle, and they greet you with a huge delicious cookie! This hotel is located across the street from a large shopping center as well, with many stores and restaurants to shop at. The hotel is also on the public bus line in case you have to go to downtown Denver and don’t want to take a cab. It only costs $2.00 to ride and you will get there in 20 minutes. Very professional staff. Immaculately clean rooms. Great experience. Can I have another cookie?

Great place to stay!

Nice hotel, great beds, clean, cookies were a nice bonus. Will stay here again!

Okay for the price

Staff was friendly and greeted me with a warm cookie (random but nice after a long flight). My room was not in the best condition, though. It was clean and sanitary from what I could tell but my door didn’t lock properly, my shower had only very hot water, my toilet didn’t flush and I had a door to an adjacent room that also did not lock properly. The carpet was very worn and old although it did look freshly vaccumed. The curtains covered the air so my room was a bit stuffy. Room service is way overpriced (isn’t it always?). Staff was very helpful in finding directions, etc. Nice little cafe in the lobby was convienent. Free airport shuttle always helps especially considering the distance between the hotel and airport. Overall, it wasn’t bad considering the price. Next time, I’ll probably pay a little extra and stay somewhere that I can take a comfortable shower and lock my door!

Nice Hotel

Nice Lobby and Nice Clean Comfortable Room. Floor Hallway Lighting was a little poor and dated. But overall, very nice stay. At first, when we drove up, we were a little hesitant because there were fire trucks blocking the entrance. Went to reception to check in and they said that some kids had sprayed pepper spray on the third-floor and it got into the vents. They had moved everyone off the third-floor to another floor until the air was cleared. We were on the fifth-floor. Everything was perfect on our floor. Love the hot chocolate-chip cookies on check-in.

an overall pleasant experience.

i thought the fresh hot cookies were a nice way to welcome the guests first night.i was not able to use the exercise room or the pool but i did see that they both were very clean. the beds were, as advertised....very comfortable.The location was good,fairly close to what i needed.Staff...very helpful and accommodating.

Could have been better.

John checked us in and greeted us wonderfully. He was the best part of the hotel. Housekeepers did not speak English and constantly would say "No, Clean." When you tried to tell them, yes to clean they would keep repeating it. Very frustrating. Then, the lamp between the beds did not work properly, the curtain kept the air from being dispersed throughout the room, and in the bathroom outlet there was a piece of metal stuck in one of them. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful, and most of the staff is friendly, just had little frustrations.

Great Place to stay in Denver!

The hotel seem to just have undergone a renovation a year or two ago. The hotel room was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

It’s close to all the places you want to go, but you need a car to get around and to any meetings you may have to downtown Denver.

The airport shuttle was a valued feature.

The airport shuttle ran promptly on the hour and half-hour from the hotel to the airport. It was a wonderful, complimentary service.

A great time in Denver

The hotel was very nice, with friendly, courteous service. Complimentary internet was a bonus for a hotel of this caliber. Very convenient to downtown Denver.

The hotel restaurant was a little pricey, but there was a great shopping center across the street with dining options.

Great Location

I was doing just a one day stay and this hotel’s location couldn’t have been better! Close to the airport with close, easy access to freeways,restaurants, shopping, etc. Hotel provided a guest shuttle to shopping and restaurant area and Bass Pro Shops! The Concierce staff was the best! Won’t hesitate to stay there again!

Everythings great!

I stayed at the Doubletree Quebec on the 15th-19th. It was fabulous, the room was very clean. Their front desk was always willing to accomodate the guest at all times. Loved the warm cookies that was given upon check-in. The area that I stayed in was awesome. Everything that was needed was right across the street at Quebec Square. Will stay at the Doubletree again!

If vacationing on a budget, this Doubletree is the place. It has a Walmart, restraunts, and whole shopping center right across the street!

Great sister trip!

I was impressed with the service, comfort of the beds and room, and especially appreciated the covered parking to make it more comfortable parking the rental car. My sister and I felt right at home (especially with warm cookies) and would love to return to the hotel! I would recommend the Doubletree to anyone!

Best tasting hotel restaurants!

We took the free hotel shuttle from the airport to Denver’s Doubletree on Quebec. Entering the hotel, it was nice to see such a large and nicely decorated lobby. The couches and chairs were so nice and comfy. Hotel staff was nice all around. We stayed for 4 days, and were there for a powerlifting event held in the hotel. We ate every meal at the hotel restaurants, and were so impressed with every order. Their food was definitely the best hotel restaurant food I’ve ever had. They also provide a free shuttle to some nearby shopping centers, which was a nice surprise. My only complaint on that is the shuttles didn’t start until 3pm, which seemed a little late for me personally. I’d definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone.

Try their huge breakfast burrito, big enough for 2, great sauce, delicious. Flautas were so good, as was the steak sandwich. Every meal was great, very impressed.

Denver Doubletree Hotel

Everything was great except the pool. It smelled like dirty diapers so we couldn’t swim. They overcharged me. I was already charged by expedia and they charged me for incidental deposit and didn’t tell us until after I checked my bank account. I had to call and get the fee taken off. Then overcharged me for the meal we ate as well. It’s a nice hotel but watch out for extra unwanted charges that nobody tells you about.

Traveler's tip on shopping

The best thing is they have lot’s of nice stores and resteraunts aroun the hotel that a van will take you and drop you off and pick you up. Kinda like a bus which is free but the drivers sure apprciate the tips.

Great staff!

All of the staff were exceptional, the rooms were a little on the small side but comfortable. The pool is great and it is a nice touch having the hot tub outside with the cool nights. The warm welcome cookies were a nice suprise as well. The exercise room has great equipment.

The Doubletree was doubly good!

Everyone working at the hotel was friendly from the waiters to the maids. They were great with kids. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. The pool could have been warmer. The hotel was nicely decorated and our room was great! I’d stay there again because it was close to relatives and easy to get to from I25.

The Children’s Museum was wonderful for my six year old granddaughter and we will go again soon. Plan on spending at least half a day--a full day would be better.

The whole thing could use a big makeover. But for one night in Denver it will do.

I like that there is a shuttle available from the airport. One complaint I have is that I have stayed at the Doubletree alot, and they never seem to know that I am a repeat customer until I tell them! I always ask for a frig in the room, and sometimes they tell me they don’t have that amenity, even though I know they do!
