not impressed
The hotel was beautiful and we were treated wonderfully by the staff. Problem. The suite used Spanish Archecture and ther were no closable windown in the bathroom or shower. Therefore, we were constantly plegued with bugs the entire trip. Food was extremely expensive plue there was a 26% tax on everything. Our reason for going there was to play the golf course. But the entire course was being airrated and it took almost two weeks to complete, so we were not able play the course at it’s best but we still had to pay full ( summer rates ) of $150.00/per person plus caddie fee. These are the reasons we would not go back. Thank you.

beautiful hotel
The Sanctuary Cap Cana is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed. It has beautiful views from anywhere your eye can reach. The staff is very gracious with always a smile on their faces.

Great experience
Great for unwinding holiday. Astonishing, recently opened hotel (at places construction issues were still present). As common in DR the hotel room smelled a bit weird (solved with doors open), but was clean, very spacious (ocean view suite), and private... 4 nights is enough there if you don’t play golf, but all in all a great hotel, surroundings, and experience...
