This hotel was GREAT !! Service was terrific. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the Richardson TX and surrounding area. I wish it would have been just a little closer to my daily destination. But other than that, all was great. Will stay there again next time in town

This was very nice experience, even though I was there on business and not pleasure. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and nicely maintained. The staff does an excellent job of cleanliness and provided everything that I had asked for and more.

Traveler's tip on shopping

Firewheel Shopping Center, a Simon Mall Outlet center, was only minutes away in Garland. This is an awesome shopping area with everything you need from baby clothes to home decor.

Great place

Excellent hotel. Clean, pretty, excellent location off freeway, friendly staff. Gym was nicely appointed and never very busy. Bed was very comfortable. Recommend this hotel highly.

The ONLY downfall to the hotel was the location for my trip. I didn’t plan out the location very well! My fault, not theirs! Very nice hotel and very accommodating people!

Sleepless night!

The A/C is located at the head of the bed, blowing air on your head and the blower was very noisy keeping me awake. Watch your charges. I was charged for things in error.

Very Nice at a Great Price

Very well maintained hotel in the heart of the Richardson/Plano US75 Business corridor. Expedia had a great rate for a Friday-Sunday stay. More than half the price off compared to the Renaissance Hotel nearby. Lobby sundries a bit pricey but that should be expected at a 4 star property. great job Hyatt and Expedia!

Wonderful Stay In Dallas

I thought this hotel was excellent. We were in town to go and see a musical and this hotel was located about 15 miles outside of town but there were nice restaurants, fast food, and entertainment sites all around. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The pool area was nice too. I would recommend this place for business or pleasure.

Nice hotel. A bit far from attractions but very clean, updated, and staff is helpful. Pool is nice, restuarant in hotel is nice, and so is the bar area except that last call is a bit early.

Poor Service

The hotel did not recognized the "kids eat free breakfast" package. The staff is clueless as to what is being offered on-line by their own company. The breakfast is certainly over-priced. The server kept commenting on my children and what they ate. There was spilled milk with Cherrios in the elevator. There is a pool but no towels.

Do not stay here.

The hotel is not of Hyatt quality. This hotel has been at least 4 other names since it was built. The hotel room was so small that you have to move furniture to access one side of the bed. Mattress is like a brick and the bathroom is tiny. Go stay at a Holiday Inn or Hilton Garden Inn. Not Hyatt amenities or comfort!!

Get a room in the higher floors on the west side in order to overlook the interstate and skyline.

Great hotel in North Dallas

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt North Dallas very much. The room was spacious with a great desk. Very friendly staff, the free shuttle took me to the UTD campus as well as to shopping. Very nice bar with very good wines and excellent food.

Hotel wait staff was friendly. Bartender was great. Rooms were very quaint bathrooms left a lot to be desired. Price was high for location, not being close to much of the Dallas nightlife. Although it was close to the Addison Restaurants. More of a Business Class hotel in my opinion.

My wife and I recently went for trip to Dallas and stayed at the Richardson Hyatt. If you are looking for a good clean hotel with friendly staff and what I found to be an excellent bar tender its a great fit. If you are looking to be close to Dallas Entertainment... This isn’t the place for you although it was close to Addison which has many restaurant hot spots. For its location it wasn’t the greatest price.

Less than impressive

When we arrived (at approximately 4pm, which is about as early as you can check in), we were told that there were no King rooms available at the moment. We could either wait in the lobby for a king to open up, or we could just check in with 2 double beds. There was no mention of putting us on a waiting list so that we could go do something else while we waited for a King room. There were at least 5 or 6 other couples who were waiting in the lobby for the very same reason. We wound up getting into one of the "show" rooms because after waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes, I was persistent enough to ask at the front desk how much longer it would be. If I had not been persistent, there is no telling how long we would have waited there. I understand that there is sometimes a shortage of King rooms. The staff could have at least offered us some vouchers for a free breakfast for our wait or told us we could have taken a double room that night and received a discounted rate for another night. Absolutely no effort at customer service. Also, the hotel fitness room was closed. There was no mention of this on the website and the staff once again made no effort to compensate for the hotel’s inability to provide the amenity that was advertised. I never fill out these reviews, but I wanted to give fair warning to future travelers.

Very nice!

Hubby and I took advantage of a great weekend rate for a little getaway. The room was lovely! Hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We took advantage of the nearby DART station to ride down to the King Tut exhibit.

Stay away from the Cafe Brazil across the freeway. Food and service were severely lacking.

cheap price not cheap stay

This hotel is just like the pictures pictate. i went for a girls weekend the beds amazing. And us girls love to come home to a comfortable bed after a night out. plenty of mirrors for getting ready, outlets for everything to be plugged in...spacious luxiurous... and the women at the front counter where amazing! They made us reservations and suggested an off the top late night spot for eating drinking and dining in outter downtown Dallas called cuba libra crazy delicious food, lively atmosphere... just all around our style. Downer was no early bird complimentary breakfast

Downtown on main street. There is so much to choice from, not long distance from parking to get to any clubs, people are friendly it was great

The Pool & Spa outside...... but a luxurious pool & spa. Nice Fitness room. Free Billiards in Bar. Classy Hotel, outside of busy Dallas.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice and we will continue to stay there whenever we are in Dallas.

A great hotel for a great price!

I was not familiar with this hotel until finding it on Expedia. It suited our needs perfectly and I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

well maintained, quiet and central in Dallas, this hotel is perfect for the business traveler, as well as families. Affordable and great deal!
