The hotel room lacked a refrigerator. The distance from check in to room was a far walk w/bags.

The hotel seems too secluded from the rest of the "lights of Vegas".

We were there on Halloween. Very interesting people there at that time!

Orleans was worth it

We had a great time at The Orleans. The check in was prompt. the room was clean. the decor gave you the feeling of being in Old time New Orleans. Nice touch. The room service was fast. the food was good. I’d go back and stay there again. Good job.

Great Hotel - tight slots :(

The staff and room are great. The slots were unforgiving. I’ll go back and stay there, but likely play elsewhere. Ask for a rooom facing the strip. You can get a breakfast sandwich for a few bucks next to the big restaurant and save, or cruise to McD down the street. The bars are nice and friendly. TGIF is nice, and the coffee stand are great. My room was a non smoking king and it was a huge value for the money. Its laid out nice and was clean. I’ll be back, but play elsewhere.

orleans hotel las vegas

Hotel was ok and certainly worth the money. The food places were the only disappointing part of the deal. Would recommend it and would stay there again.

Nice Hotel

The room was nice and roomy; there was a separate sitting area with a sofa and chair to eat. Close to the Freeway and the strip, away from the large crowds and area was nice. Lots of food places around . Adjacent to the Rio and Palms. Hotel had really good food and buffet. My only issue was that the AC in the room kept humming loudly and I didn’t sleep at all. I called the next morning about it and maintenance came quick to fix it. Good customer service.

Zumanit at New York New York was amazing. No one under 18 admitted. Fashion Show Mall is HUGE and the Peppermill restaurant (by Circus Circus on the North end of the strip) is so good and reasonably priced.

It was nice but to far from the strip

It was a nice hotel, nice pool, awesome buffett. But, to far from the strip and by the time you wait for a shuttle to get you down to the strip you can just drive.

Almost As Good As Being On the Strip

My girlfirend and I usually stay on the Strip when we visit Las Vegas but we discused to stay off-strip this time and had herd good things about the Orleans. It is frequented by locals a lot and seemed very friendly when I visited its sports book last year. Well, we were very happy with out stay there. The hotel is clean, has plenty of amenities, is friendly and not that far from the Strip by car or shuttle bus. My only complaint is that our room was at the end of the wing and seemed like a mile from the elevators. Other than that, everything was fine. Would recommend.

A pleasant stay

I find this to be a comfortable place to stay which is convenient to things I want to do. (I don’t spend much time on the Strip.) You still have to walk through the casino to get to and from registration and the rooms, but only a corner of the casino and not the whole length as at several hotels. My one complaint is the lack of free internet service. Of course, I have the same complaint about the majority of hotels in Las Vegas. I like the electronic check-out. It might be nice to have a larger selection of TV channels, but I don’t spend a lot of time watching anyway.

Orleans, L.V. Review

This hotel is a good hotel to stay at if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and convenient hotel off the Strip. The hotel / casino has all of the typical amenities you would need including an excellent buffet. There is also plenty of convenient parking as well as the valet service. My only gripe with the hotel is the $12.95 fee per day for wireless Internet use. Other than that issue, I would recommend this hotel if you need a good off-strip hotel.

I love the Orleans

The is the third time I’ve stayed at the Orleans and I’ve enjoyed it everytime. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel offers wonderful amenities including great restaurants and a wonderful spa. I will stay at the Orleans every time I go to Vegas.

Not really happy

I was told to try this place out by my friend who said he likes the place. First off my room was given away I asked for non smk room and got a smk room.. Was told it was just a request and not a promise. I went to bed like 2a and was woken up by a leaf blower at 5a just outside of my room window. I complained and was told I was the only one complaining. The only thing good about this place is the buffet at lunch or dinner.. Breakfast sucks !! I met a friend at South Point hotel for breakfast and the buffet was really good.. The hotel didn’t smell like a cigarette.. I think I will be staying at South Point next time..

I was up in Vegas to see the show "LOVE" at the Mirage. I’m not really into the Beatles but I do know the music.. The songs brought back alot of memories.. It is in the round meaning you will see everything from wherever you sit.. I was in the second row from the stage and for the price I paid $$$ it was well worth it.. I would love to see that show again..

Surprisingly nice - will stay again

We were very surprised with this hotel. It was very reasonably priced and had a lot of unexpected features (bowling alley, movie theater, pool, spa, and a number of restaurants to choose from) and the room was nice, big, and clean. The shuttle service to the strip and to their partner hotel was very convenient and ran on a regular basis. We were in town for a concert so it wasn’t important for us to be on the strip. We will definitely stay here again.

Good Value/Family Friendly

Great place to take the kids. The movie theatre, bowling alley, pool and supervised arcade game room are sure to please the whole family. Some of the restaurants are actually reasonably priced too.

The hotel provides complimentary transportation to one of their sister hotels on the strip.

Best in Vegas

I found The Orleans on the Expedia website and saw that the reviews were great. I have not been to Vegas since the 90’s so I was excited to go. I had all of my family with me for a small family reunion and we all thought The Orleans was great! Rooms were clean and comfortable, the coffeeshop had good & reasonable priced food. Try the Canal Street steakhouse. Best steak we have had in a long time. A real nice casino! The staff was very helpful when my daughter lost her phone. Had such a great experience that I am sure if we ever go back to Vegas, we will stay here.

"Wish I was still there!"

We had a good time on our much needed vacation. The hotel had good food and service. The spa was great/we enjoyed a massage. We also loved the Alice Cooper concert and there was a bowling alley and movie theater in the hotel. Everyone was super nice and friendly.

Had a wonderful stay

The hotel was very nice. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. The front desk staff were very friendy and helpful. We are non smokers and the smoke in the casino area made our sinuses act up, but we didn’t hang around the casino area in the evening when the smoke was much worse. Otherwise, the restaurants were great, and a good value for the money. The beds were so comfy that I would have stayed in bed all day if I could have. Huge pillows were a joy, since most of the time, hotel pillows are flat and skimpy, these were full and thick and oversized. I really liked the bath soaps and toliteries, they were good sizes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would deffinately go there again.

We went in mid to late October and the weather was perfect. The heat of Summer was gone and the days were warm and the nights were cool but not too cool.

Enjoyable and comfortable

Second time I have been there. Had no issues with anything. Staff is friendly & professional. Everything you need from gaming to Subway. Security is tight but not to the point where the patron is uncomfortable with it. Prices are much better here than on the strip. I will be returning. Had a banquet while there and the people that served us were more than great. Shuttles to the strip about every 30 minutes.

!st time I went was in July. Very hot. This time we went in October. Beautiful. This is the time to go.

Great Hotel!

Convenient, off strip location $10 taxi ride to the strip. Clean & free wireless internet access at the cafe. The only bad thing is a suprise $5 extra charge per guest per room.

We loved that the hotel was located off the strip and the convenience of the shuttles was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to visit again.

At least it’s off the strip

The Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas is not the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. It was decent. I’ve actually been t New Orleans and I thought the theme at the hotel was a little weak, but the rooms were clean. One thing that I will say is they charge for internet service. Wow! what about perks?
