Terribles - not so bad

It’s an older hotel, but I liked it. It’s not the fanciest, but the room was clean, the bathroom was a little small but I guess it is standard. It was not 5 star but adequate and close to the concert arena at Hard Rock, so it was adequate. Workers were helpful, and the cafe was cheap - though the food was average at best.

Served it’s Purpose

This place is pretty good, my only complaints are the chairs in the room and the old decor. Otherwise there are big flat screen tv’s in the rooms, there is a little store that you can buy items that are not jacked up to casino prices, good prices on steaks at the restaurant, and the casino seems to be lively with locals everynight. I am working in vegas not on vacation. Oh, i almost forgot FREE INTERNET, that’s been unheard of this close to the strip. All in all i’ve found out around vegas you get what you pay for.

free internet

Good value

Room rates are very reasonable especially compared to strip hotels. The pool is nice for a smaller hotel and the flat panel TV in the room is a pleasant surprise. The convenience store inside the hotel has low prices for alcohol. I will be returning.

I loved it!

Small, cozy, not too busy, but had all the exciting machines as the larger casinos. The food is always great at the Bouganvilla restaurant.

The Only Place I Stay in Vegas

Terrible’s has a small town feel. I see the same employees year after year. You can get everything you need between the restaraunts and gift shop. The player’s club is generous and you can use the points for food, lodging, etc. throughout the casino.

Reliably Adequate

There’s nothing fancy about Terribles, but it’s consistent-- a reasonably clean room, reasonably good service, and reasonably well located. The smoke in the casino is reasinably managed, and the casino itself, while nothing to write home about, is like everything else adequate. Time after time, this is an adequate experience in a city with many hotels that fail that measure. Especially if you get it at a bargain price, Terribles is a reliable place to stay.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The most recent time I was there, Terribles had free internet-- a rarity in Vegas. That alone saves you $12 off the cost of your stay!

Terrible’s actually pretty good

The room seemed a little old, but the location was pretty good, and they had some excellent deals on meals. 10 bucks for a full steak dinner that tasted great! Only about 5-10 mins from the strip.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Be sure to check out the coupon packet you get at check in. Has some really good deals for eating and other freebies.

Awesome staff

The hotel is older and needs some updating. Rooms were clean and the food was very good. The best was the staff, from check-in, casino, room service and housekeeping. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and seemed to be happy that we were there.

Great Deal

This very inexpensive hotel is just a few blocks from the best part of the strip. Unlike the larger casinos, you can park your car only a few yards from you room (often where you can see it from your window). The pool is in a central courtyard where you can get to it quickly without a map and compass. Except for the carpeting, which was getting a little old, the room couln’t have been much better. However, unlike the hotels on the strip, the lobby is not smoke-free; steer clear if that sort of thing bothers you.

Really great deal

The buffet was great. You really get your money’s worth. I would def stay there again

Traveler's tip

It’s a great family hotel, but the place was full of an older or senior crowd I should say. But overall it’s a really good deal the strip and all the main attractions where only 5 mns away

Free WiFi Adds Extra Value

Very nice off-strip property, better than most of the old 3-star zoos on the strip these days. Free WiFi clinched value for me, but also newly furnished Tower room very comfortable with King bed and 42in flat screen.

Best value

If you are looking to just spend the night, it’s the best value for the money. We didn’t use any other service so sorry can’t comment.

Good for couple or older group. Kid’s may not like it.

Hotel should be renamed SUPERBS!

Couldn’t beat the price and great perks to boot! They offer free covered or open parking, free hi speed wireless internet in room. Workout room complete with full bath, water and towels. Guests are welcome to the computer in the workout room for their convenience and you’re able to print out pages at 25 cents per page, but the first 5 pages are free! The two restaurants- buffet and cafe have a terrific menu. The cafe is opened 24 hours with breakfast served 24 hours along with their NY steak special. You won’t believe the prices. The biggest banana split for 5 dollars. Only drawbacks are the smoke filled casino, limited number of channels for TV and it could be a long walk down the hallway to your room.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Great for families or business travelers. Located at Flamingo and Paradise close to the airport and across from many popular restaurant chains like Roy’s. Right on the bus line too.

Well worth the money

My friend and I stayed at Terrible’s in August. I thought the room was nice but the bathroom was rather small. The meal at the restaurant was good. I would consider Terrible’s anytime in Vegas.

Traveler's tip on dining

The restaurant was good.
