Grand Pelican Provided the Perfect Getaway
Hotel was beautiful - large enough to have all the amenities, small enough to feel intimate. Staff was consistently pleasant and helpful. Wrap around porches, room balconies and the 11th floor balcony provided variety to the views. Ocean front room was well worth the upgrade. Price very consistent with value. Clean, well kept and well furnished rooms. First time to Ft Lauderdale and this hotel. Would go back tomorrow if we could.
Hotel is a bit isolated but Shooters and the Water Taxi is a reasonable half mile walk. The main areas of town are a $10 to $15 cab ride if you don’t have a car. But, a much better value and more convenient than renting and paying to park a rental car

Great Place
The Pelican Grand is a beautiful hotel right on the beach. It is very clean and the staff provides excellent customer service. I can’t wait to return.
