Very Clean, Very Affordable and Upscale
This hotel was truly great. The people at the front desk were very helpful. The room was amazingly clean. Centrally located to everything as long as you have a car. I have stayed in Many hotels, and for the price this is top notch.

Three night stay
The hotel has been remodeled and is in excellent condition with an upscale feel. The room seemed very clean except for the decorative throw which was on one of the beds. It had something smeared on it that looked very unsanitary. It creeped me out and I folded it up and put it on the floor out of the way and I commented on it upon checkout. I would rather not have a decorative fabric on the bed if they don’t clean them after each guest. yuk. The TV was very nice, it had a great picture. The beds are not that comfy for me, a bit too hard for me. The AC worked great. As a woman traveler I often have issues with the lighting at the wash sink, not bright enough and the sink area was too small for all my "stuff", curling iron, cosmetics, etc. The free internet in my room was good and easy enough to use. The room was pretty quiet. Except for the sanitation issue and bed comfort I was pretty happy with the hotel.

Nice Hotel; Decent location from major attractions and highways
My family really enjoyed staying at this hotel. 2 std queen-bed room was a nice size, kids loved it. Very nice facilities/amenties incl free parking, extrememly helpful front desk & staff. Overall A+. It’s just about 20 mins away from the major attractions and downtown.

Away from downtown, but a great place to stay
Although it’s not downtown or near the ocean, the transportation system of San Diego makes both of those spots easy to get to. This hotel had a great staff, ready to give advice on what to do and see. They had a great pool and hot tub, free Internet access and computers available to hop on at any time of the day. We really enjoyed our stay.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Be sure you get out to Cabrillo National Monument. It’s only $5 to get in by car and the view of San Diego and the Pacific Ocean were amazing. You also get access to a tidal area.

wonderful!
I have spent many years traveling for business and have found that Marriott has the best hotels to meet all your needs. This trip was for lesisure with my family it filfilled all of our expectations and more. The people were helpful and always smilimg. The food was great as was the service. I will stay at this one again.

Nice Hotel, Good Location, Clean!
This was a very nice hotel for what we needed. Price was a little high, but reasonable. The quality of the hotel actually exceeded our expectations. Very clean, friendly, and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in!!
Was very pleased with the overall experience of the hotel. Slept like a baby which is unusual in a hotel. Room was quiet. appreciated having the newspaper delivered early each morning. Great place to stay!!
