“We had a wonderful stay at the house! It was perfect for the family and my 78 year old mom who stayed in the downstairs bedroom. She sat on the back porch every morning to eat her breakfast watching for wildlife. She saw turkeys but no deer. I would stay here again and hope that we spend time in Maine again soon.”

“This home in the Timbers had good access to Windrow trail (3’ walk in ski boots). Home was clean and well stocked and pictures are accurate. Bedrooms are cozy and living spaces comfortable. Host Ryan was excellent with timely communication and support. While a major storm impacted our check-in, he made us whole with a generous compensation”

“Spent the weekend in Rangle skiing, the place was ideally located not far from town, and an IGA for any groceries, and short drive to the mountain. Heather was responsive and helpful welcoming us with comfy beds, board games, ping pong, and local recs”

“Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. ”

“Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Golden Smelt. We have been renting VRBO properties for decades and this is by far the best stay we have ever had. The cabin is brand new, and was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay special. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds, the stylish decor, the ample parking spaces, and of course the incredible views of mountains and lake. We loved sitting at the dining table next to the wall of windows that face the lake.……

“The rental process was straightforward and clear. The property was great. We wish we could have spent more time exploring the area, but we were there for a wedding weekend and too busy to just enjoy the views. But it was close to Sugarloaf and would have been a great place to land after a day of hiking. The house was well-stocked and I can’t say enough good things about Alaina, the owner who was our contact. She made sure that we knew how to contact her if we needed anything and her response……

“The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. ”

“We were in town for my son's wedding. The house was so well-equiped - top of the line appliances, great cookware, platers, plantes, glass, cups. The beds are comfortable, the house was clean. Anyone that stopped by was in awe of the amazing view. The check-in process was seemless. The property manager responsded to my questoins within 24 hours. Rangeley is a quite town but the people are so welcoming. I would highly recommend this house. ”
