“Baymont is a motel style location, meaning that room entrance is from an exterior door. My room was surprisingly nice! Spacious, well equipped, and clean. Given that I needed to walk up a set of stairs and enter my room from an exterior door, I was a little skeptical. However, the room was very nice! There were a few minor housekeeping issues, but nothing that would caution me about staying here again. The location is also excellent, near the Punta Gorda airport and major highways. “Spacious rooms. Very comfortable accommodations. Well laid-out floor plan. The kitchen area was delightful and the refrigerator/freezer was a good size to accommodate all types of foods and beverages (no mini beverage can fridge here). The beds fresh and clean. “What a great stay. Right on the beach and beautiful. I was happy to find chairs and umbrellas for us to use while relaxing on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend. The room was clean and comfortable. No frills but perfect for a getaway! My only issue would be the door handle into the room was very temperamental and often hard to get in or out but that didn’t deter from the amazing stay. ”
