“Everything was clean and staff was friendly”

“our rooms werent ready for check-in when we arrived we had to go wait in town with all of our stuff and we came back hours later to find them still not ready. staff was unhelpful and difficult. other people in the hotel got locked out of their rooms and got no help from front desk and they had to find a different place to stay since they couldnt get back in. people were loud in the rooms all day n night and dogs were barking and going crazy.”

“Upon entry, the lady at the desk was incredibly rude and acted like I was interrupting her. I had just walked in and said, I’m here to check in. I know I should lower my expectations because it’s a made over Motel 6. It’s now a Studio 6 which makes sense- I guess they have a lot of long term residents that aren’t accustomed to a certain level of hospitality. The only saving grace was the water pressure- it washed off the layers of dirt from hiking Arches and when I turned around, I about lost a……

“Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again.”
