“The room was dirty. I don’t think they ever cleaned the bathroom baseboards. The room smelled. When a place says that it is dog friendly and charges you a fee, does that mean you are put in the worst room in the place? Even my dog, a six pound Yorkie, couldn’t sleep. “This wonderful hotel was a great mix of modern and old time charm with wonderful intricate details including a poor over coffee service in the room and a water bar with fresh clean water. The bedding was outstanding and the chirping birds and flowered patios were glorious! The managers were exceptionally gracious. What a lovely experience! I will be back for sure! “Clean little tiny home right on the creek. Megan was a fantastic host. We had a couple little problems upon initial checkin but she addressed them promptly with a smile. We stayed one week without any other problems. They even offered for us to extend our stay one day, we loved it so much we re-arranged our travel plans and accepted the extension. We will definitely be back to the Wheel Haus soon!”

“Overall very good property.
The room is clean but you will notice the room has been updated in pieces over last few years.
The hotel is hot but the a/c in room is excellent!
This room is “good” for me, the caveat is the shower shows its use (my OCD) via bottom of tub stains, it’s very clean.
Linens are showing their age, again clean.
The staff I encountered was helpful and nice.
$100 cash, debit, or credit deposit required at hotel check-in.
No shade in parking lot, safe though.

“Absolutely none of it. No A/C, no smoke detector in our room, the toilet didn’t flush. The staff weren’t helpful at all and when I called the next morning they said the smoke detector being off was because people can get away with smoking in there, and the cleaning people must of forgot to put a new one on 🙄 never ever will I book here again.”

“I was charged for my partners service animal. I informed them i had a service dog and they told me it was an extra $10
I reiterated it was a service animal, and that it is illegal to charge more. I did not offer paperwork and it was never requested.

“Came to check in and there was a power outage through no fault of the lodge. At the time there was no running water but I was charged $2.00 each for a bottle of water.
