“We loved the room and the setting! The waterfall and sauna was an absolute treat! The restaurant was fantastic!”

“The place was cute and in a nice location. But the bed was terribly uncomfortable. Any movement from myself or my partner caused the whole bed to shake. Additionally I tried to contact the staff/whoever runs the place to ask for late checkout but was never able to reach anyone.”

“Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The gas-fired fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The location is beautiful with tall trees and mountains all around. It's also close to many fun things to see and do. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.We will definitely return!”

“Everything was great. The room, the area. I needed something close to an event I was participating in. It even provided the opportunity for a little adventure. If I had brought my running shoes I could have gone down to the river right behind the building!”

“I liked the ski lodge/honey feel. The hallway and room was probably 80 degrees all night even though it wasn’t really that cold outside. There was no way to regulate temperatures in each room. Had to sleep with the door open to the back patio area. Also the toilet was jammed or something so that didn’t flush, had to lift toilet lid off snd pull stopper manually to flush. It was cheap.”
