“If you are looking for a quiet B & B type experience, a little bit off the beaten path, then this could be a great option for you. Our room was on the second floor with a narrow wooden staircase which made it challenging to bring our multiple bags up to the room. We opted to pull a few necessities out of our main bag and just bring in a carry on, which worked fine. The rooms are lovely and comfortably furnished. The bed was comfortable. One of the "charms" of staying in a B&B type lodging……

“What a pleasant surprise to have stumbled on this unique inn with charm, history and characters. It has so much to offer: historic buildings with some 200 years of stories, super helpful hostess (big shout out to Kelly), comfortable bed and clean / spacious room, thoughtful details in the facilities (keurig coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast, lounges…) What I was looking for as a place to crash after a long drive turned out to be a highlight of our time in Montpelier.”

“WOW, what a magical place to stay! We sure wish we would’ve booked 2 nights. We stayed in room 203 and it did NOT disappoint. The view from our private balcony was beautiful. The restaurant across the street had yummy food too. Breakfast was nice as well. If I had any suggestions it would be to have fresh brewed coffee available in the morning and a sign to show where you check in. Oh, the cute gift bags, how about something more Vermont like a maple sucker?”

“Owners of property are very helpful and welcoming. Beautiful home, beautiful rooms, remote location, beautiful view of surrounding mountains! Excellent breakfast home-cooked , under home maintenance projects while there, would recommend small coffee pot and fridge in room for convenience purposes.”
