“For the price point and ridiculous surcharges present, it doesn’t deliver. Aside from the young men doing transport the staff was rude and not helpful. Steamroom was out of order, the sculpt class I took was mediocre to say the least - our room was dusty and had cobwebs in the corners of the room as well as above the shower - unacceptable. An additional arbitrary $45/day stay-fee on top of everything upon checkout was charged which is “just normal” according to the front desk. Bizarre. The……

“It was a cool and wet Memorial Day weekend; the rain was relentless but we had a fine time hanging out at the cozy and charming Upstate Creek House. Clean and comfortable, it made our time in the Shawangunk area quite enjoyable.”

“Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly.”

“good price, good place to stay”

“Views were spectacular. On site hiking trails and lots of local trails and parks. Food nearby was great. Lots of options”

“Room is clean ,gym is good , breakfast fried egg too salty ,water fountain water was too chemical taste.”

“To be honest, I pulled up after a long day of hiking, and it was dark out from what I could see the place looks kind of abandoned. Lots of things and disrepair. We walked into a grand lobby, which looks like it was decorated in the 1960s. The gentleman at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer helped us with a big smile gave us the key to our room. He said there was no restaurant on site, but they did have some potato chips and cracker jacks and sodas for purchase. We went straight up to our……

“Great location and highly recommend!”

“The pictures are misleading”

“Very peaceful, had the most lovely morning with light streaming in the windows reading a book and slowly starting my day. Just stayed one night but it really helped me relax. the sauna was wonderful, loved the fire pit (bring your own wood and fire starter) and the kitchen and living room were so cute. Bed was comfy, and I was quite at peace. Will be back if I'm in the area again.”

“It was great! "It's about a whale".”

“Absolutely beautiful place. Carefully prepared for our arrival with tea light and lampshades on throughout the accommodation. No complaints whatsoever and if anything exceeded our expectations. The location was great for our plans exploring Hudson Valley and surrounding areas. Would 100% recommend. Communication throughout was perfect 👌. Thank you for a wonderful stay .”
