“The front desk clerk was incredibly helpful, friendly and got us checked in very quickly. We had to leave very very early the next day so did not have a chance to visit the breakfast buffet, so I am unable to comment on that. The hotel and room were very clean, a bit outdated, but excellent considering the very reasonable rate that we paid.”

“The room looked clean at first glance. However, after unpacking I noticed roaches climbing on the walls and the shower curtain smelt like sweat. Completely disgusted!”

“We had a quick one night stay but was so much better than a hotel. We stayed with our dog and we all were appreciative of the fenced in yard. We had a great nights sleep I believe because of the wonderful peace and quiet. Do not hesitate to stay here.”

“You won't regret this stay! Mirtha and Mike are fabulous hosts! The breakfast was delicious and the view incredible!”

“The property was perfect for us. Thanks Shannon!”

“It's going to sound crazy but I loved the rooster. One morning I heard him at 5:30 and thought to myself okay he starts crowing at the first hint of daylight. Another morning he started crowing and I thought to myself oh it's 5:30 already, but I looked at my phone and discovered it was 4:30 in the morning. Last morning I was there he started crowing, and I thought I wonder if it's 5:30 or 4:30, but after looking at my phone it was 3:47am and said to myself "that rooster's defective".”

“We had a great stay at The Mason. Right in the center of town, close to everything. Great communication with the host.We highly recommend going to Stovers for breakfast as well. Will stay again when for sure!”

“Great place. Very clean and spacious for mid to large sized groups. Can be challenging to find, even with Google Maps, so would recommend identifying the location ahead of time since cell coverage is spotty in the area.”

“Amazing place to stay, very quiet and relaxing. The pond was very nice and had fish to catch and release. The host was very nice and communicated well with everything. Will definitely recommend it and we will be staying again in the future ”

“Melanie was so sweet and communicative she gave clear instructions and was responsive to all the questions I had.”

“Very clean and neat. Very peaceful. Plan to stay again when working in the area. ”

“Perfect overnight stay right in the heart of a beautiful, walkable area close to shops. Grocery and gas a quick drive nearby. Parking was convenient right in front of the entry door. No problems with entry. The instructions were clear and accurate. Kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed plus some extras to make us feel welcome. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Lovely all around.”

“This was a super cute place that we all loved! We were there for Dale Hollow so we didn’t get to spend much time in this VRBO but the place was spotless. It was adorably decorated. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the back deck every morning and used the blackstone for breakfast. Access to the property was easy and communication with the owner was fast and friendly. We would definitely stay again! 10 out 10 recommend.”

“Perfect little spot close to TTU campus!”

“It was a great, cozy little cabin. We had a nice time in the area.”
