“Super comfy bed! Close to everything. 5/5 would definitely stay here again!”

“Nice little place”

“This was our second time staying at the Blue Jay Nest, and we already can’t wait to come back! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is peaceful, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was truly 5-star.……

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.”

“This is a very quaint cabin for just 2 people. It has all the basics but if you intend on making some food there, bring the spices. Coffee brewer is good and plenty of filters are on hand. The bed is really comfy. The toilet must have been put in for a 5 year old because it is the shortest I have ever sat on. Location is really nice and close to the downtown area and plenty of wildlife roaming around. Cabin is a real rustic feel and we felt really comfortable there. All in all in was a……

“We enjoyed the cabin very much, A couple of minor things came up but did not distract from the stay. However, the grounds are an issue. We understand that the area experienced a flood about a year ago which was devastating to the entire town. But one would expect the area of rentable cabins to be presentable. Overgrown grass and weeds dominated. Also, the pond in the middle of the cabins does not look anything as the advertisement. In fact, it was dry and the pump house is collapsed. The……

“Perfect little getaway spot! 2 people and a dog fit nicely if you’re open to a small space. Well appointed and modern. The bathroom area is quite small so just be prepared for that. The wrap around porch was lovely to relax all day. Quiet surroundings and wildlife all around. I’d come back every weekend if I could!”

“The location was nice and the house was well kept. The hot tub was enjoyable. We would recommend to others.”

“Very comfortable and restful.”

“Cabin was cozy. The bed seemed like they were gonna break at any moment, didn’t get much sleep. The hot tub only 3 jets worked and slowly. Everything was ok”

“It was pretty good place to stay, is nice and calm. I really liked that is pretty close to Ruidoso downtown.”

“Had an amazing Labor Day weekend stay here! The vintage 1940s–80s cabin vibe is charming and feels very similar to classic cabin stays in Tennessee. The bedding and pillows were exceptionally clean and super comfortable. Keep a close eye out for the entrance—the sign is difficult to see at night, and the driveway is quite tight, so take it slow when arriving after dark.”

“The cabin was clean and inviting. It was homey. The location was a perfect place for launching on all of our adventures. The deck was great for watching wildlife and it was very quiet. Exactly what we needed!”

“Location very nice. Watch weather for flood Watch warnings-can affect road travels. Otherwise good experience.”

“Had an amazing stay, unfortunately the property i booked had a power outage and I was contacted to choose another location under hummingbird-cabins, the one I choose was higher in price but was not charged the difference. The place in Alto was amazing, fed deer every day, wild horses roaming through the yard, beautiful views!!!!!!!!!! Will look into that one specifically next time!!!!!!!!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the clean, comfortable, home away from home in the beautiful Ruidoso NM mountains! We sat on the deck enjoying the wildlife, and were very happy with the convenient location. It was perfect for our little group and for our small dog!”
