"As always this place was fantastic. We try to stay there anytime we are up there visiting our son at App State. Clean rooms, great customer service and the price is better than staying at a hotel for what you are getting. Like home away from home. Our youngest son really enjoys the fishing pond."

"It was really clean yes outdated but it made it even more cozy .. the only thing I didn’t like was a loud bang every 45 minutes couldn’t tell where it was coming from but I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone will be back for sure "

"AMAZING!! This was my fourth time visiting the Farmhouse and we plan to be back every year. It's very cozy and makes you step away from the hustle of life to enjoy its simplicities again. "

"The host worked with me very nicely when I was having trouble with accessing an email she sent to me earlier about access information. We also enjoyed restaurant recommendations. The cabin was well-appointed and pristine. Every little detail seemed to be addressed. We almost hated to leave the cabin to go out and do things, it was so nice! There were some unique lovely touches such as the S'mores set-up and the lovely little stuffed campfire on the second floor by the bunkbeds. Internet access was seamless."

"The host, Mandy, was there when we arrived and gave us a lesson on the locking system. She was very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. We were very comfortable in the downstairs room with the fireplace and bigger tv. We did wish for local channels to check the weather (and World Series scores on, tho). We would love to return someday to the beautiful area of North Carolina."
