“The host, Mandy, was there when we arrived and gave us a lesson on the locking system. She was very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. We were very comfortable in the downstairs room with the fireplace and bigger tv. We did wish for local channels to check the weather (and World Series scores on, tho). We would love to return someday to the beautiful area of North Carolina.”

“The host worked with me very nicely when I was having trouble with accessing an email she sent to me earlier about access information. We also enjoyed restaurant recommendations. The cabin was well-appointed and pristine. Every little detail seemed to be addressed. We almost hated to leave the cabin to go out and do things, it was so nice! We were a little bummed that the hot tub wasn’t turned on when we got there the first day, therefore we couldn’t use it until the next day after it had warmed up. “Wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our time at Sweet Retreat. Owner was extremely friendly and responsive and the chalet had everything we could possibly need.
