“DO NOT STAY HERE. We had booked two bedrooms and the one bedroom was not clean. The bed was not made and the towels were not changed and it smelled horrible in there. We had three people so we had to book a different place to stay for the night. We could not get in contact with the hotel after calling multiple times and communicating with hotels.com as well. They are not refunding us. ”

The trash had not been put out on the sidewalk, from the front of the house and the ground was dirty, lots of garbage outside of the house from other neighborhood. Upon arriving at the unit, the smoke alarm on the ground floor beeped continuously throughout the night, lasting until the afternoon of the following day. “It was nice for a night, but some of the dishes weren’t very clean and I couldn’t get hot water from the shower. Hot water easily came out of the sink. Easy walk to Temple University so the convenience out weighed the issues.”

Additionally the apartment comes with a designated garage since on street parking is harder after 8 am. The apartment is very comfortable with two bedroom, kitchen and living room. “Description and photos set appropriate expectations. Yes, there is an elevated train outside the door. Did it bother us? No, we were expecting it and being close to a stop was an added plus for touring the city. The studio was clean, the host communicated quickly and clearly when the VRBO website didn't so that we had no delay in checking in, the toiletry amenities were unexpected and thoughtful, and the prepared notebook of options for restaurants and places to visit was appreciated. Although the listing states “on site parking available”, we didn’t receive a pass and had to park on the street. There is a train track directly behind the building and trains ran regularly. The few residents that we met were friendly.”
