“Nice setting”

“This is listed as a four-star hotel on Google, but that is not the case. It is definitely 2 1/2 as listed on Expedia. They did not have reliable Wi-Fi or any of the basic channels to watch sports. Based on other reviews it had recently changed ownership. They need to up their game or the poor reviews will start pouring in.”

“The hotel was nice. Location was good - you can walk into the old town of Grass Valley easily. Breakfast was very good and the dining room nice. There was a manager's hosted happy hour which was a nice touch. The bathrooms do need updating but everything worked fine. Housekeeping staff was very nice.”

“It’s right in the center of Broad Street with a really nice cafe downstairs that’s open at 7:00am every day and has fantastic homemade bacon breakfast burritos. The room is clean and beautiful. I had some difficulty at first getting into the building and into my room with the respective codes. The trick is to wait until the door entirely stops buzzing and only then push it open. The other thing that would be an improvement is to upgrade the sheets to 100% cotton. The existing sheets in my……

“My husband and I love staying here! We appreciate the warm friendly staff who graciously prepare a complimentary cook to order omelette and waffles each morning. Parking is easy to visit historic Grass Valley or a short drive to the cool waters of the Yuba River and Nevada City. We will be back next year!”
