“I stayed at Sierra Mountain Inn for three nights and had a great experience. The stay was very comfortable, peaceful, and enjoyable from start to finish. The property was clean and well maintained, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything went smoothly during our stay, and the overall atmosphere made it feel very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Sierra Mountain Inn to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!”
“The Gold Miner's Inn is very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms have plenty of room and a comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and they offer water for your room as well as a nightly glass of wine downstairs in the main entry room.
The breakfast was okay, especially take and go items, but the hash browns were soggy and the oatmeal had not been turned on to cook. The walls clearly have no insulation as you can hear everything outside the building and every word your neighbor says. Our……
“The room was filthy. I have stayed in many Best Westerns across the country, traveling with my dogs, and have never stayed in a hotel room that dirty. I was not traveling with pups, so I did not ask for an animal room. The bathroom tile was filthy, as was the carpet; no bare feet in the room. When we were unloading the car one of the employees parked his cart at the bottom of the stairs to our room and puffed on a cigarettte. We had to ask him to move so we could acess the stairs and breath in……
“The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are fresh and clean and tastefully decorated. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. Property is quiet, dog, friendly kid, friendly, and just a very special place.”
“This historic building has been thoughtfully updated, preserving all of its original architectural features. Very attentive staff, with a nice restaurant and bar. The upstairs lounge area is a great spot to enjoy.
No elevator, no complaints; it’s over 150 years old. Small rooms are expected, but the room was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and upgraded. Needs more electrical outlets, so consider bringing your outlet strip. No TV, no problem.
Nevada City is a fun little town.”
