"No hot water available in the room throughout my stay. Staff was unwilling to help and was rude when requested help. "

"Had a problem with the staff after being checked in almost two hours after the check in time. I was sent to the wrong room and was forced to move to another room. When I went to the front desk to request the phone number to register a complaint with the senior leadership, the person at the front desk refused to provide the number and insisted that she had no responsibility for the mixup and it was my fault that I did not hear her as I entered the elevator. No one was sent to the inform me of the mixup until we were in the room and had started unpacking. That attitude persisted from her during our entire stay. Great location, very historical, the staff needs an attitude adjustment. I worked as a District Manager in a retail grocery chain with over 3,000 associates working in my area. I always told the Team that “We are in the Customer Service Business, we just happen to sell food. The clerk behind your desk did not deliver that service."

"Overall, everything was good as always when we come to Louisiana to visit our daughter who attends Southern University. I understand budget but I do believe it’s time for new carpet throughout the hotel. The room I stayed it, I do believe a bigger size TV would be nice. Other than that, we always enjoy our stay here. Thank you!"
