We rented 4 properties on Gun Lake for family attending our daughter’s wedding. This property was by far the BEST! The power went out the night before the wedding and this property was equipped with a generator!! If I could give this property more stars I would!! The setting on the channel was so calm and peaceful. Access to the big lake was so convenient and close.……

“Wonderful change from our usual stay at Pine Lake as there were only 4 of us this trip. The outdoor space is UNMATCHED. Easy access from driveway to dock and all the way through the house with no steps needed. We had such a peaceful weekend away to recharge. Host is remarkably accommodating and responded to questions within minutes. 10/10 would stay here again!”

Exactly the laid back, quiet goodbye to summer we were looking for!! The kids caught tons of fish from the dock, and we all enjoyed kayaking on the clear-as-glass water. The house itself was charming and we enjoyed finding new antique treasures in every corner through the weekend. Exactly as a Michigan cottage should be! ”
