"My family and I stayed at the hotel over the weekend and the young lady that was working at the front desk was so helpful! We had to ask for blankets, extra towels and some other things and she was very accommodating! Great service and the hotel room we stayed in was nice. We were in room 210. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom walls and floor look like they need some attention or maintenance."

Cozy Retreat: Your Serene Lakeside Haven near Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana

"Tim was an excellent host and seems to enjoy being a host to others. The property is on the end of a dead end road which limits people going by the property. I was a little sad that patoka lake was not visible from the property. You are able to access Patoka Lake's hiking area within 30 minutes. Marengo Cave is an amazing tour, better than Indiana Caverns! Burton's Farmhouse was the best food I had while staying here. Finn's by Patoka Lake was the worst food. Maybe just don't get breadsticks or a sub there! Overall this was a great place to stay and explore southern Indiana and the Patoka Lake area!"

"The room was clean and recently renovated. The staff was great! There is a large issue (heaving and a hole) with the parking lot on the far side of the hotel but it can be avoided."
