The area around the hotel was sketchy. Hotel towels had hair on them. I spilled water on the bathroom floor, & went to go wipe it up. After wiping up the water, the towel I had used had turned black. It appears the tile floors don’t get mopped. Makes you wonder what else isn’t being cleaned properly?

This is a good place to stay—very comfortable and clean. Breakfast could have been better. It was all spread out all over the place due to construction. I was disappointed and a little upset that I was only here to be near my terminally ill brother and the social worker gave me a list of hotels with lower rates for those having to stay close to a loved one. The front desk person told me they were “almost sold out” so they wouldn’t honor it. I was really in shock—like, you’ll only honor it if no one needs it? Don’t say you are going to help people in their time of grief and then be like—nope, we want the money! It’s not attractive and it’s a terrible policy.

I was just very surprised. The property is under major construction and I was not told this ahead of time. It was so clustered down in the breakfast area and there were construction workers working while trying to walk through and they gave zero care that there were paying customers needing to get through. Early morning and when people are trying to check out on a Saturday is probably not an ok time to have a large crew working out in that area.

Stayed there during renovation of the first floor and during an apparent basketball tournament in town. Recipe for disaster - lots of high school aged kids running around the floors and being loud at night. Hard to control no matter where, but I would t stay there again if I knew that was going on. Has the ability to be a nice hotel, but it was just an okay stay overall.

Our go-to at Louisville Airport
We stay at this location several times a year. The desk personnel are great. The building has been undergoing renovations. We’re not big fans of the changes to to rooms - the new look is sparer than the old; not as warm & fuzzy feeling. One thing that is a major fail (if you are alone, then it doesn’t matter): the new toilets rival the jets departing at nearby Louisville airport for noise: they work great but they are REALLY loud. Maybe best to plan on not flushing during the night unless you want to wake up your roommate. Breakfast: usually above average. Staff: very good.
