“The person who checked us in barely looked at us and gave us a lousy room (near elevator and shared wall with ice machine), hotel was far from full, so no excuse. Every other staff member was amazing and we loved our stay despite the mean check in lady and less than optimal room. ”

“ I went to Chapel Hills for medical procedures @ UNC. I had reserved 3 nights for two days of medical treatment. When my day @ UNC was cancelled, I only stayed at Red Roof Inn for 2 nights but could not get a receipt or verification that I had turned in the key on Friday morning, the 14th. “I loved how close the property was to UNC-CH…it was very convenient and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We checked in later in the evening and hadn’t had dinner yet, and luckily found that the property had a bar menu. The ONLY thing that was a little frustrating was the parking situation. My daughter and I came back to the hotel two nights around 9-9:30pm and were not able to get a parking spot in the parking deck so we had to park in the SECU lot about a block and a half away. ……
