“The bed was so uncomfortable and the couch is stiff. The market food is so terrible, don’t bother spending an outrageous amount of money on it. The pools are nice, but towels and small and thin. Staff was nice and considerate and the 24hr desk was a nice to have. The room could’ve been cleaner and not once did the floor get clean when we asked for it to (like trash and sweeping). The shower was pretty gross though, and DO NOT use the washer and dryer. The machines made the clothes I washed……

“Everything with the room and property was good. Check in was easy. The elevator was out the whole time we were there. It all turns around if you ask any employee a question. We had 6 people in our room and we only had 4 towels. I went to the office and asked for 2 more sets of towels. They acted like I asked them for a kidney. With an attitude, the response was, "We don't provide extra towels, there's a laundry mat on the 2nd floor." I said I don't need EXTRA towels. We have 6 people in our room……

“As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!”

“Super convenient location. The kitchen was very useful, and our rooms were very clean. One of my friends I traveled with uses a wheelchair, and everything was easy for her to navigate. This hotel really is right on the beach, which was wonderful! The staff was great, and very nice. The only thing that didn't go well, was the office closed early on the day of check-in. It was supposed to be open until 5pm, but we pulled in at 4:40, and it was closed. I had to make a phone call to another……
