"Showed up to check in an no one answered the door. Knocked on every door and called. Didn't get an answer by phone until after I had to find another room elsewhere. Only good thing was that I was not charged any fees, which of course I shouldn't have been."
"I have stayed here numerous times. The hotel has lots of character and reflects the period built. Glad to see the Coal Cafe as much needed. Please fix the elevator! The rooms need updating. The windows desperately need cleaning. You could see a view of the mountains if clean. Management seems to ..."
"We had issues getting the code for the door, so, we were left waiting outside for several hours. Brandy apologized sincerely for it and reimbursed us for the day. That was the only snafu we had. Overall, very clean, comfortable house close to the trails. Would recommend it."

Nothing like the pictures. Filthy house and yard. No parking for trailer. Almost 7 miles from trail
"We rented this house for 1 main reason. It was advertised to be 1 mile from Hatfield McCoy trails. We have been coming to Hatfield twice a year for 15 years. It was the farthest from the trails from anywhere we have ever stayed. Advertised 1 mile from trailhead. It was almost 7 miles on the road ..."
"We needed a place we could take our two boxer dogs. This cabin is brand new. It has Wi-Fi!!! And a smart TV. We brought our Amazon fire stick but if we had not we would just had to log in to the apps on the TV to access our accounts. If you have AT&T you can forget any cell service in Mingo or Pike ..."

"The hosts were great. A frend and i brought up our 2 kids to do some trail riding on the hatfield McCoy trails. The house was just a few miles ride from the trails, clean and had all the amenities one would need for a long weekend of riding. Great place would stay again in a heartbeat."

If you have AT&T you can forget any cell service in Mingo or Pike county. But at the cabin we could I-message and face time on the wi-fi.
Apparently Verizon works great there.
You are 5 mins from a dollar store in Lenore and about 15 mins from a Super Walmart in Belfry, Ky
The sun sets in the front of the cabin, so if you want to grill on the back porch the sun isn’t beating down on you.
Beds were great. Washer and dryer helped out and they had Tide in the cabin.
You are close to railroad tracks so you will hear a train. But you get used to it.
We loved the place and can’t wait to visit the cabin again. The owner lives down the hill and will assist you with any problem quickly.
She is one of the nicest owners of a VRBO we have used."
