“Clean and cozy!”

“Our family stayed here for a family wedding. As we were all coming from out of state, we were happy to have a place we could all be together (and save money by cooking instead of eating all our meals out). The layout of the house was perfect for us (no bedrooms on the main floor, one downstairs, and 3 upstairs). Our family took the "kids" room- my 5 & 8 year olds LOVED the bunkbeds! It's never been so easy to get them to sleep!One thing the house was missing was a can opener (we know how it is,……

“This place was fantastic. We came to Ames/Des Moines for the National Senior Games. The location is terrific. We could make it to the Iowa State Campus in minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The home is wonderful. The beds are comfortable, there is plenty of room, the kitchen is really well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans. It was nice to be able to use the garage. Kevin was very available and had excellent communication with us. I would highly recommend staying……

“What a nice place! Lots of the little things were handy and made our travels easier and comfortable. Well outfitted kitchen lots of space in the the house overall. Deer , fox, and other wildlife to watch in the mornings and evenings. Will stay again if we are in Ames. ”

“Don’t be mislead by the age of the house; it was impeccably clean and organized. The neighborhood, though not centrally located for university access, was close to downtown and south Duff businesses plus convenience stores and several restaurants. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. It suited my needs perfectly.”

The host was able to replace a faulty smoke detector after repeated messages, but before bedtime. We really enjoyed the space.”

The kids enjoyed the air hockey table and the playground out the back. We all enjoyed the patio complete with the flower boxes. The host was readily available.
