I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. As an unexpected surprise, there’s an auto ice maker in the freezer, saving me from having to make a trip to a store with the kids for...

“My friends booked a last minute staycation to catch up in one place. This place had all the amenities to bring groceries and hunker down for the weekend. The grounds were gorgeous and all the home spaces were cozy. Also, the owner was incredibly communicative before the stay and when we had a few questions during. I hope to find a reason to stay here again in the future.”

“This is a beautiful home. This is Our second stay this year in this wonderful cottage. We love the water view from the comfortable chairs on the beautiful front porch. Our Host was amazing. She left awesome treats for us and had a basket of toys out for our four year old niece. This home is so clean and is so close to things to do. “Well appointed cottage in central location close beach and bay. Many extras not found in other rentals. Owner did a beautiful job decorating, and it was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed at. ”

“Absolutely the grossest property I've been too. 5 spiders, 1 centipede, 1 dead cockroach. Master bedroom and bathroom both had see through curtains so people could look through. Hair in the sink and wads of hair stuck to the bathroom hinge. Window AC units had gaps in them so bugs could come in without hindrance. Leaves in the ac ducts(how). Couldn’t even cut the grass for before guest arrive. We didn't even stay there. ”

“The cottage is an older structure that has been impeccably renovated. It had everything we needed for a week's stay. Colonial Beach is not a glamorous ocean holiday destination. It is a rural community with a basic infrastructure on the Potomac River.”
