“Everything about this stay was good. The location is very convenient, just off the freeway, yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, and quick. Any of the staff we saw were very friendly and always said hello. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. It was quiet and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again.”

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. “The property was listed as a NO PETS ALLOWED on their website. This is one of the main reasons we booked a night’s stay here. We don’t have pets, nor do we want to stay in places that are pet friendly if it can be helped. So to our surprise there was a dog in one of the rooms down the hall from us!
