Room is very spacious, our room is located at attic at a building cross a busy road from where hotel reception is , has no lift , lucky we don’t have large luggage . Good breakfast but very limited choice . There was tooth brush or sewing kits available. Not quite sure how 5 stars rated. Only a basic B&B

We’ve just had a wonderful stay with our two dogs. From the initial booking to follow up messages everything was handled well. On arriving late we were met by the restaurant manager and shown to our room which was very nice. Needs a little bit of maintenance on the old windows so that they all be open but otherwise all was good. Breakfast was excellent and served in the bar so our dogs could be with us. Similarly we had evening dinner in the garden room. The grounds are lovely with lots of walks for the dogs. Thank you for a lovely stay and a special thank you to Hubert for his hospitality

We stayed for 2 nights in this apartment hotel. We had our 2 year old with us, and this was a fantastic stay for a few reasons. 1. The team is highly communicative and amenable to requests. Originally they had given us a baby cot, but my toddler has outgrown it - so they were gracious enough to give us an extra bed, with no extra charge. They accommodated an early check-in to make us comfortable. 2. The room while small, was exceptionally well designed. Even with a pull-out bed, a sofa, a small dining table - we never felt cramped. The furnishings were modern and high quality, and having a small kitchenette in the room was helpful. 3. The location is amazing - a short walk from the Royal Mile, and on a street that was quiet at night. They have rooms that face the castle - though they were sold out of those during our stay. 4. Finally, it's the small things that make a good stay great. They left a super cute soft-toy for my toddler on our departure date, which he absolutely loved. One small downside - you have to take a staircase with about 20 steps to get to the rooms. There are no elevators to carry your suitcases. This wasn't a big issue for us, but if you are mobility impaired, it could be a challenge.

The hotel is stunning, clean, and perfectly located. The room was large and spotless, and the breakfast selection exceeded expectations. The location made it so easy to walk to local shops. Top tier hotel.

2 bedroom apartment was very spacious with a kitchen and second bathroom which was nice to have! There was also a washer/dryer in-unit. Everything was very modern, updated and seemed new. Very nice place to stay with convenient location. Highly recommend!
