Stay with my partner for our anniversary in September, asked for a room with a bath, but didn’t get it. The bathroom door didn’t close at all, had to push it close with a rubbish bin.
We arrived late, and no one was at the reception, so we had to wait for half an hour for somebody to notice us. Our room was on the second floor with no lift and the night receptionist didn’t offer any help with our luggage, just watched us (two tiny ladies) struggle up the stairs. There was also no WiFi password or the number to phone the reception in the room, so we had to go look for the guy again. The next day we were going to have dinner in the restaurant, but there were no tables, so they offered us a room service free of charge, however we didn’t get our bill at checkout, were told that they will email it to us, but still didn’t. So we don’t even know if we were charged a room service fee.
Overall, the hotel itself is not bad, but the service is disappointing. We expected more, especially considering it was a special occasion for us.
