“This was an awesome place to stay close to Fredericksburg. We did not notice any of the issues outlined in previous reviews. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. Communication with the host was hassle free and the check in process was easy. We would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area. ”

“I feel like reviews have been hit or miss for this place so I wanted to leave a detailed one. The place is a great size and had plenty of space for everyone to stay. There’s actually 7 bedrooms if you count the bunkroom, which doesn’t have a door to but is great for kids to sleep. There’s 3 rooms with double beds, 3 rooms with kings, and then the bunk room with 6 twins between all the bunks. The interior of the house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with plenty of kitchen utensils……

“We came to celebrate 65 Birthday the Hot tub was great! Loved the views the porch was a fav we spent a lot of time there looking at the deer and the mountains and watching the incredible sunsets! The fire pit by the river was another fav spot we got to see 2 Bald Eagles ! Just incredible views watching the leaves change color! Our dog had the Best vacation! As did we! Nina was Wonderful and checked in on us to see if seen the Fox. She was Great and communicated quickly showing up w a replacement……

“Loved this place so much. I only wish it was more affordable- the fees are really high! But you could definitely fit a ton of people in this place. There are two big bedrooms that could easily have littles plus parents. The game room was legit and one of the few places with an air hockey table! They had a lot of equipment for the lake which the kids really enjoyed.”

“This was such a wonderful property in a nice location on the lake. The house has been recently renovated and has modern amenities and decor. A screened in patio to relax on, sprawling property down to the lake and the boathouse including a nice fire pit, and a parking lot that can easily accommodate two vehicles or a vehicle and a small trailer. It's nestled into a corner of the lake so you only have neighbors to one side, and everything was very quiet and peaceful. This was an excellent choice……

“The cottage itself is filled with fun, pool table m, tv etc. Not to mention the farm and lovely cats that lives in the house.”

“I enjoyed being in my own, cozy little cabin near the woods as I found the tiny house to be a very homey and comfortable lodging, yet private and secure. The proprietors were very hospitable. I would recommend this place over a hotel room anytime. And I would hope to book it again if I’m in the area. ”
