“Very good, customer service is very enthusiastic, breakfast is also very rich, the room is perfect”

“Everyone went well just surprised there was no microwave in the dining area.”

“Hotel was great. Easy access to get in & out. Bathroom was very spacious. Only issue was ice machine ran out of ice on 2nd day of stay. Fur hotel size a 2nd ice machine would be ideal”

“I’m going to start off with saying The manor is beautiful. I found this gem kinda last minute and I’m glad I did. It is very clean, quiet and I felt mostly like I had it to myself. There were other guests who were staying but unless if I seen their vehicle or faintly heard them when I went to the Bathroom, I’d have never known. So as many others state, there is no breakfast, the owner you have to call upon arrival, they explain why and they are so nice. But I didn’t stay there for the……

“The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. However, there were several times during my 2-night stay where staff were standing directly next to the entrance door smoking cigarettes - you couldn't enter or exit the building without being covered in second-hand smoke - digusting! I was in town for family weekend at one of the local colleges so I realize demand was high, but the $170/night room charge was significantly more than the property should be charging given the condition -……

“Closest place to venue for a wedding. Price was good and nothing else was good. Our tv was protected from content…on a lifetime movie and on daily news. Drapes had holes in it. Literally no maid service for towels and bed, they only emptied trash can.”

“I give this cabin a five-star rating! It was incredibly cozy, spotless, and made me feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Nice”

“This property offers the perfect getaway. The cabin is so lovely, clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved sitting on the beautiful deck, listening to birds and the breeze through the trees; walking the peaceful private path to the High Bridge Trail, and exploring Farmville’s charming nearby downtown. The recliners totally spoiled us for any future rental that does not offer so much comfy seating! The hosts thought of everything and were super responsive. We look forward to booking a longer……

“Very cute and cozy cottage with easy access to the town and the university. Excellent host. Looking forward to booking it again during our son’s study years at Longwood University.”

“Host was great, very clean and a great location. ”

“What a wonderful place to stay in Amelia. We enjoyed this spot so much. Pristine cleanliness, everything you could image needing or wanting and an awesome space for enjoying hanging around the house with family. Can’t wait to stay here again in the future while we are visiting our son at HSC.”

“This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms were dirty, the hallways were dirty, the dining room was dirty and I arrived when it opened. There was only stale bread and milk in the fridge that was spoiled. One front desk staff was polite but would not pass on contact info for the manager. I did email him 3 times with no response. I left after one night but was charged another night for early checkout. Please do not stay there, it is inhabitable.”

“We enjoy the quiet & peacefulness of the property. Very close in proximity to what we were interested in doing on our trip. Thank you.”

“Very nice room and suite clean and accomdating ”
