"The cabin the perfect for our family of 6 and dog. Easy check in / out. We enjoyed the view from the porch, the fire ring, and proximity to great nearby hikes including Glory Hole, Big Creek Falls, and Alum Natural Bridge. Even on the rainy day, we were comfortable playing games and doing puzzles inside. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. "

" I thought I knew what peace and quiet was, but this place is on another level. Sitting on the porch, sun in your face in complete serenity. Or being able to see so many stars at night that we just can’t see back home. During our weekend stay we saw many birds and squirrels, 1 deer and only 1 person (on the road as we were leaving). No cars, planes, lawnmowers, etc. The hosts were super nice and helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable. Be careful of the recliners, they will put you to sleep quick. Our dog had a blast in the large yard as well as just hanging out on the porch. There are several great hiking trails a short drive that we had planned on visiting, but ended up just maximizing our time at the cabin for in complete relaxation instead. Definitely a great place to recharge yourself."
