“We spent 2 wonderful days here, and it made for the perfect weekend getaway. The hotel was small, cozy, and full of charm, with a great location close to everything we wanted to explore. The indoor pool was a nice bonus, and the beach was absolutely breathtaking. The only downside was that the water was incredibly cold—but the stunning views more than made up for it. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. Sometimes a quick escape is all you need. 🌊☀️✨”

“Hotel staff was great and were constantly cleaning! But the hotel room we had seemed to be a little outdated in the bathroom. A new shower and what appeared to be mold on the wall next to the toilet. Not the staff fault but ownership. Would still come back great beach location!”

“The room wasn’t very clean, there was trash under the dresser and in the window well. The shampoo was partially used already. There was no coffee pot or microwave in the room. They didn’t have a complimentary breakfast like most hotels do either. The water park was great though.”

“This is a great option for people staying on Mackinac Island. Shepler's Ferry delivers your luggage directly to the hotel, which is a very helpful amenity. We enjoyed the hot tub, and dinner at the 1852 Grill Room was the best meal we had on the island. Highly recommend, though I would advise to make sure you book a room with a window view of the harbor (which we did).”

“Rooms in serious need of repair. Our bathroom door handle was hanging by a screw thread, literally. Breakfast cheap. Hard to understand girl at front desk. Place outdated. Biggest issue is when we requested a balcony view, we assumed it would be private. They all were connected with two chairs in front. Screen door horrible to open and close. Couldn’t open curtains because ppl could walk right by. You need to put up walls between the rooms for private patios. We might have sat out there……

“My ONLY issue with this nice little boutique hotel is that the walls are very thin and people tend to stay up extremely late into the night enjoying themselves in the surrounding rooms. If you’re an extremely light sleeper (which I am not), be mindful of this. I have stayed here 2x since spring, and I do like this place. I plan to stay here again in the future.”

“Loved the property and was able to walk right out on the beach. Enjoyed the fires on the beach in the evening. Breakfast was very good. The Concierge was amazing with knowledge and she was so friendly, enjoyed taking with her. Was so nice to have free shuttle take us to the ferry. Was walking distance to restaurants & shops in town. Will definitely stay here again.”
