“Friendly staff. Big family room. Spa had good facilities and skilled staff. Big outdoor pool. Avoid breakfast, felt cheap and did not match the rest of the hotel. Stayed 3 days, two days we were almost alone at the hotel. There is nothing other than hotels and roads in this area so grab is necessary. ”

“The hotel suite was just amazing, the bed and bath was exceptional and so comfy, the staff were friendly and happy to help. Food and drink were also high quality. Ran out of some drinks tho. Inside spa the water could be cleaner, didn’t use it in the end. But the outside pool was lovely and much cleaner. ”

“Lucky for Grab as we were not walking distance for food, ATM and convenience store. Short driving distance from train station. More locals staying at the hotel than tourists. Pool and restaurant hours changed with no warning! Plenty of options for breakfast menu but were unable to get a steamed rice for our young son and had to pay for bottled water. Our booking included arrival drink and when we asked the 2 bottles of free water and 2 x 3 in 1 coffee was the welcome drink apparently! Not sure...

“If I could give this place more stars I would. Honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We got in late after an overnight bus and the owner came and picked us up from the bus stop. The place was well kept, and extremely beautiful. He also kept our bags the whole next day while we did a cave tour and even dropped us off at the train station after.”

“Minimal bugs and creatures in the room when it's right next to the field. Great job cleaning and tidying up. We stayed during the field clearing season so the burning/smoke kept us indoor for an hour at sunset until the smoke clear. After that, no problem. We used the pool after the smoke is gone. Food was decent, staff were very nice and helpful.”

“Did not use pool, too small for me. Staff extremely friendly and polite. Must mention Iiims who arranged transport to my next destination for me. If you want to be close to the beach I would recommend this hotel. Standard very good and reasonably priced ”

“Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Nguyen Shack so much! There is such lovely views from the room and eating area. The yoga was amazing and it was so convenient having breakfast there every AM, The staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met,., they truly want you to feel at home.
