"Our room was recently updated and finished good. The tv is a bit old but that's not a complaint thing. Parking lot was worn but ok what you would expect in the area from salt and snow removal. I didn't realize that there's a EV charger available next to the hotel at another building and a TSC down the street from this location. Pricing was a great match. If definitely stay here again."

"This is a beautifully restored farmhouse. David the owner takes good care of it, and it is decorated exquisitely. We enjoyed swimming in the well-maintained pool. It felt like a private hotel. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped and overlooks the pool. There is a breakfast nook and formal dining area, a comfortable living room, and an WIFI enabled office. We enjoyed entertaining guests for pool and dinner gatherings.The 2nd floor king bedroom suite is spacious and has a projector TV. Our child slept down the hall in a single bedroom with a dedicated bathroom. On the 3rd floor, there is another suite with a king bedroom, small single bedroom, and spacious bathroom. In my opinion, the house is ideal for large families or two families traveling together. The previous review about allergies does not make any sense based on our family’s experience. In making a decision whether to stay here, I recommend disregarding it.West Chester is a great place to stay. The town is a few minutes away with restaurants and shopping. We were within driving distance of Longwood Gardens, Lancaster County, Valley Forge, Gettysburg, and Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine. David is a very hospitable host and takes a hands-on approach to making sure guests have all their needs met. This is not an empty house that is rotation rented. It also has unique aspects like being Alexa enabled and having an art studio. I recommend it for a special experience."
