“The bed is kind of soft and not comfortable. The breakfast was good”

“It was a great location close enough to Acadia. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. My only complaint was the shower curtain. It was too short and too close. It kept sticking to us anytime we showered. Those curved curtain rods and longer shower curtains so water doesnt get on the floor would have been much better.”

“very nice”

“Everything is good ”

“Loved this little place! Beautiful property and view. The breakfast wasn’t anything special and continental style. With a restaurant on site it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast that was cooked. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We asked for tea at night and the attendant brought us a tray with a tea pot, honey, cups with saucers…very thoughtful touch and appreciated. It is an older building, but still comfortable. Our room had a fireplace and towel warmer. I would……

“Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!”

“We had a good time staying in Hearthside. First it has the nicest and most friendly staff. Second its location is fantastic, we love it that it is not right in the middle of the busiest street but it is a 5 min walk from it on a quiet small street. Third it is also great that they keep hot and cold water jars and some snacks on the dining room table at all the time and we found these very helpful when we returned from a long day touring outside . On the minus side which we hope they can improve……

“This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one……

“Extremely basic. Not worth of money.”
