Such a beautiful bed and breakfast, very walkable, delicious food every morning and tea time with snacks each afternoon, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I plan to stay here again.

We loved our 3-night stay at the Hearthside Inn! Juliana and her team provided a great experience, from the delicious breakfasts and snacks to the beautiful accomodations. The Inn is in a great location and we didn't have any challenges with parking. We look forward to returning!

What a great spot in Bar Harbor. Incredible location within walking distance of all Bar Harbor has the offer, but tucked away on a beautiful side street. The staff were AMAZING, and offered to make us breakfast sandwiches each morning for our hikes. Highly recommend a stay here!

Very helpful staff. Snacks and coffee always available (all foods and baked goods were excellent. Start your diet when you leave! A few rooms have separate private baths, requiring going down the corridor, but since there were only a few rooms on a floor it was doable without much inconvenience. Very centrally located. Good restaurants easy walking distance

We had a wonderful stay at Hearthside Inn! The location was perfect for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. The room was very clean, the bedding was super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious each morning. Friendly staff and a wonderful overall experience — would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was so quaint, clean and beautiful. We have never stayed in a BnB before and we are converts now. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE and afternoon tea was delightful. Parking was included, which is really nice since everywhere is walkable. I highly recommend you stay!

We had a good time staying in Hearthside. First it has the nicest and most friendly staff. Second its location is fantastic, we love it that it is not right in the middle of the busiest street but it is a 5 min walk from it on a quiet small street. Third it is also great that they keep hot and cold water jars and some snacks on the dining room table at all the time and we found these very helpful when we returned from a long day touring outside . On the minus side which we hope they can improve is that we had some problems with the toilet, either we could not flush or the water could not stop, hard to describe, but it got a bit annoying at the end.

We enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished was there was a place to sit your things in the bathroom. There’s nowhere to put your makeup, your clothes or to hang a towel as you step out of the shower. The breakfast was delicious every day. We would’ve liked it to be served earlier so we could get a head start on the day. It was from 8-9:30am. The staff was very friendly and available. The location was easily walkable to the main areas. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows and blankets. Our issues were small ones and the good things about this place made up for those little inconveniences.

Breakfast was wonderful - with 5 kinds of fruits. There’s also afternoon tea with pastries. A short walk from the main street, and the post office is just around the corner if you want to buy stamps and send postcards. We were surprised to find upon arrival that our bathroom is down the hall rather than in the room. So a $260+ night stay for dorm style living - although we did have exclusive use of the bathroom. Staff did offer to try to find us a comparable place in their chain of accommodations. But we were too tired to move after 5 hrs of driving and having dragged our luggage up two flights of stairs up to the third floor.
