“This was the sweetest little inn! We stayed three nights and had a great stay. Very clean and well stocked. The dinners were the best! Loved the food and the beers and bar. The staff were very kind, accommodating our change in arrival time and letting us get in for dinner just before the kitchen closed after a long day at Skye. Definitely recommend staying.”
“This property sits in an amazing locale, and one that is not necessarily the easiest location to get to either. The route I traveled was miles upon miles of single-track, winding road through amazing, rugged country.
The staff were very eager to help me out as they could, when I inquired if they had the laundry service, rather than telling me “no” they offered the use of their own wash facilities. The bar at the inn doubles as a sort of community center, one night was a jovial and impromptu……
“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
“This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”
“La signora che lo gestisce è gentilissima e prepara una colazione fantastica inoltre la stanza che avevamo era molto bella e dava sul bosco veramente magico”
“Stunning location and very peaceful. Bed and, just as important, pillows extremely comfy! A lovely old building lovingly restored and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast delicious! Would certainly stay again. I was in the Skye room with a sea view.”
