“I really enjoyed my time at the Calvery Cottage. Jessica thought of everything I could possibly have needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From farm fress eggs and homemade bread right down to the complimentary hygiene products arranged so beautifully in the bathroom. "As someone who travels extensively and stays in all types of hotels, from luxury to budget, I found the complete lack of basic professional courtesy from the front desk staff quite surprising. There were no smiles, and basic polite words like "thank you" or "please" were absent. While my expectations for facilities, cleanliness, and Wi-Fi are aligned with the hotel's price and star rating, this fundamental lapse in service was genuinely disappointing and regrettable. This was, frankly, the first time in my very extensive travel history that I've encountered such a consistently cold reception."
