    Arrivati alla reception, io e il mio ragazzo, abbiamo purtroppo scoperto che expedia aveva fatto un overbooking e la nostra baita superior (con cucina, le altre NON l hanno) non era disponibile. Dopo un attimo di terrore tuttavia, per rimediare ci hanno sistemato in un enorme cottege privato (con bagno, cucina, sala e 3 camere da letto) quindi direi che non potevamo chiedere di piu! Sono stati super gentili e siamo rimasti ovviamente molto contenti! In linea generale comunque la struttura è ben organizzata ed è a 5 minuti di macchina da Portree ottimo punto di partenza per girare Skye.…

I loved Skye and wished we could have stayed longer.     This hotel was highly recommendeUnfortunately, I could not make it to my booking as I had come down with influenza. I only cancelled the day before as I was hoping, until the last minute, to be well enough to make the venue. Caitidh, from the Tongadale, messaged me to thank me for cancelling and hoping I would be better soon. I had inadvertently given a negative review as I was unhappy only at not being able to complete my journey. I am unable to remove this review for some reason.     Our room spacious, clean and well decorated. Also the view of Portree from my room was stunning. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. And all the staff was friendly and super helpful. I got soaked during a rainy hike by the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye. I was drenched by the time I got back to hotel. I was shocked when the hotel staff went out of their way to help dry my clothes. I was so impressed and truly grateful by their hospitality. Such a cozy, beautiful hotel. I can’t wait to visit again in the future!…
