“Liked the staff and amenities. The room heater sounded like a truck taking off whenever it kicked in. So poor sleep.”

“The breakfast and coffee was poor, the shower had a tacky patch job the air conditioner filters were dirty”

“Great for price and clean”

“Everything was great. Love the idea of the cabins”

“Public wifi did not include service to the room I was assigned so I was unable to watch tv nor read my kindle unless I went to the reception/dining area. The gym was closed for repairs. I mistakenly left on my trip a day early so had no room reservation on the evening of my arrival. I spent over an hour trying to reach Expedia to see if they would cancel the room on Oct 16 and cover the room on the 15th. I called 6 different phone numbers all of which seemed to be third party contacts. I am……

“The place was clean, well decorated and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find, nice location with quick access to downtown. My only complaint is the place smelled horribly of cigarettes. There was several glade plug ins, I guess to mask the smell, but it was still very strong. Even our clothing after leaving smelled. I didn't notice mention of it in other the reviews, so maybe it is something new, but either way was really disappointing for……

“Fun cozy and unique The setting couldn’t be more beautiful. Enjoyed the amenities.”

“We love Decorah for a weekend getaway from the Twin Cities and the Bluffside Gardens was the PERFECT place to stay. It was right off the trout run trail so we could go biking right from our room without having to drive anywhere. Easy access to downtown and the room was very spacious and clean. We will for sure be back next year!”

“Loved the spacious apartment style - easy to relax in one space while others slept in. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect even during an Iowa heatwave. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. (coffee in the cupboard!) Off street parking was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back! Almost forgot! The Koreana Japanese restaurant downstairs - perfect for a late night snack! 😋 (Along with beers from Pulpit Rock & Topling)”

“Simple, spacious, clean & convenient! Gave our family plenty of space to hang out, eat, sleep and get ready the day. Bonus that colorful flowers were blooming on the hillside.”

“The staff was wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. We requested a first floor room and it was just what we wanted.”

“The house was the perfect fit for our group. Hosts communicated clearly and were extremely prompt to answer any questions.”

“Great place! Quiet, spacious, comfortable beds, great communication from the owners/hosts... We already have our cabin booked again for some future stays! ”

“Beautiful property with great amenities. Peaceful and clean stay for our family of four.”

“Everything was nice. We were only there for less than 12 hours so didn't get to use the pool/hot-tub. Breakfast was less than expected, but enough to fill us up.”

“If your family has a reason to be in Decorah, Iowa and you need multiple bedrooms under the same roof, this is your place!”

“Very easy to work with! Had a great experience in Decorah at these bluffside gardens! Very great room. Close to all of the amazing hikes and downtown. Would definitely come back! ”
